No one teaches us how to be Emotionally Fit.
What does Emotionally Fit even mean?
It means learning how to notice you're having an emotional reaction, feel it, accept it, and express it in a way that keeps you in your integrity.
No small feat, right!?
The research says that the # 1 skill leaders need today is empathy and we can only have empathy for someone else's feelings and experiences if we first have empathy and compassion for our own feelings and experiences. It starts with us.
Most of us have had zero training in bulking up our emotional regulation muscle.
That is where I come in.
I have an amazing wellness webinar called Emotional Fitness that you can now purchase for your office as an MP4 download for $ 299 and you get a whole bunch of other goodies.

I will occasionally travel based upon availability to come to your office in person. Email me back to discuss.
Here is an emotional fitness tip you can practice now with your teams, friends or family: Empathic Listening.
To do:
-Put away all distractions
-Make eye contact
-As the person is talking fully listen
-Show them you're listening with body language (head nods, smile, etc.) and by asking follow up questions when they pause
I'm currently practicing this with my teens so I can truly listen vs. fix.
I'd love to come and share more strategies in your office. I'd also love to hear from you with any comments or thoughts you have.
